Munnar is a town in the Western Ghats mountain range in India’s Kerala state. A hill station and former resort for the British Raj elite, it's surrounded by rolling hills dotted with tea plantations established in the late 19th century. Eravikulam National Park, a habitat for the endangered mountain goat Nilgiri tahr, is home to the Lakkam Waterfalls, hiking trails and 2,695m-tall Anamudi Peak.
After arriving into Madurai, visit the famous Meenakshi temple for the evening programme. The following morning a day trip to Rameshwaram showcases the holiness as it is believed to be the Kashi of the south. The next two days would be in Munnar for its majestic mountains and plantations, and finally head back to Madurai to fly back or take a train to the next destination.

Meet on arrival at Madurai Airport/ Railway station and transfer to hotel. Relax and evening visit Meenakshi temple to attend the night ceremony at the temple at 9 P.M. This is a ceremony that takes place every evening when the temple bronze of Lord Shiva is carried to the bedchamber of Parvati. The procession is accompanied by religious prayer and temple music. Overnight.
